The term psychotherapy/group therapy encompasses a large number of different interventions that may focus on specific problem management, behavioral and cognitive skill acquisition, or the social benefits of the group experience itself. Since 2022 the Voskeporik Development Center has started the psychotherapy for the mothers of the beneficiary children of the Yeghegnadzor branch and the Martuni region. The purpose of the meetings is psychological support for mothers, stress relief, personal growth of mothers and formation of a strong community. The therapeutic process of psychotherapy helps overcome difficulties, makes parents stronger, contributing to the implementation of the strong parent-strong child formula. Artissimo NGO has received a small investment from the VIA Fund – the first impact investment fund for social enterprises in Armenia. The investment has allowed Artissimo to implement series of psychotherapy group trainings and therapies with the mothers of 40 beneficiary children. The VIA Fund has been developed under the scope of the Collaborate for Impact program which is financed by the European Union in Armenia and implemented by the EVPA in partnership with Impact Hub Yerevan in Armenia.
