Elen Sargsyan was born on September 17, 2013 in the village of Lichk, Gegharkunik region. Before the child was 2 years old, the mother felt that the child’s development did not correspond to her peers. At that time they did not go to the doctor. They were examined in Yerevan at the age of 2.5 and they were directed to attend a development center.
After a long search, they learned that Voskeporik Development Center is operating in the city of Martuni. Ellen started attending the center on April 10, 2020. The child had difficulties integrating into the society, lacked contact, memory, concentration, age-appropriate play activities and speech.
“We have been attending the Voskeporik Development Center for 3 years. Due to good work, today we have meaningful speech, contact, cognition, we count numbers, we also learn letters. We are grateful to Voskeporik staff, especially Special Pedagogue and Sensory Integration Specialist Anni Malkhasyan,” says the mother.
We are happy to witness Ellen’s success and be a part of that process. We are sure that we’ll have new achievements together.
